A Lovely Sound
I sing with a small trio of gals accompanied only on two ukuleles and the occasional kazoo. For our purposes, the shaker makes just the right amount of sound to be present but not overpowering. We discovered that we don't necessarily strum sharply enough to get a good shake out of it so we take turns just using it as a regular shaker. We love the elastic--one less thing to grip!

Rhythm Ring
It's a good idea but the sound is a little to soft. The ukulele drowns out the sound of the shaker. Truthfully I thought the shaker was going to be made out of metal then the sound would be a lot loader. Plastic is just a too soft.
