This is the hardwood fretboard to order if you want to upgrade the polycarbonate fretboard yourself. This is not a simple job, but it is an option if you do not want to ship your instrument back to us to do the upgrade for you. The wire frets on the hardwood fretboard are slightly higher and more visible than those on the standard polycarbonate fretboards. Both versions have zero frets and should have the same intonation.
