This is Open to Source Sensors' Line Driver. Claimed to be one of the best sounding preamplifiers for acoustic pickups.The unit is completely hand wired, and provides a 5 megohm input impedance and up to 35db of clean, usable gain that will drive any 1/4" input with ease.The master volume control mutes the output when it is turned all the way down, and includes a switch to turn off the battery. There is a secondary redundant battery switch in the output jack that also turns the unit off when it is unplugged. Battery life is approximately 900 hours using a standard 9 volt alkaline battery. Compact rugged case with belt clip. Measures: 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 3 1/4.
